ok, total throwback to middle school. i know allison (of ladybird) remembers this look. we used to take way over-sized flannel shirts and tie them around our waist with our ill-fitting jeans (not our fault, that's just how they were back then) and pro-keds (which were actually pretty cool and still are today). who knew the look would come back around .... although in a bit more updated way. but that's how fashion is - cyclical. i'm probably a bit too slouchy (if you haven't noticed yet, i love slouch) but you can do this look with skinny jeans (which i'll probably do next) or a more fitted top for a sleeker look.
