bandana styling

 i was recently asked for help on how to wear bandanas and i love a bandana, there's so many ways to style them... as a headband, tied onto a handbag, around your neck... so it was fun pulling together some inspiration. here's some of my faves...

and how i've used them/worn them...

i love a bandana tied to the handles of a handbag... adds color, 

pattern mixing and makes it more unique

add a little pop of color

navy is probably my favorite color bandana

stripes and camo... 

and you can see my crocs 😄 listen they're ridiculous looking but SO comfortable and versatile for road trips, camping, the beach, etc. 

i digress... 

so, to recap - try wearing a bandana loosely tied around your neck with the knot in the front or off to the side, around your neck with the triangle part in front (play around with it and see what works for you and your outfit), wrapped around your wrist (for this, i'd go for a thinner bandana or a silk one so it won't be bulky), tied around your handbag handle or as a headband... 

i love finding vintage bandanas (pro tip: i wouldn't pay more than $35 for a bandana) so check out thrift shops and you can also search on etsy and ebay, etc.
