what i wore... LBD

 my bff and i (and my bf, our photog 😏) went to palm springs for our 2nd annual labor day weekend... so. much. fun. 

anyway, in regards to outfits for the weekend... i typically don't have a super feminine style but when i'm in palm springs, i tend to be a bit more ladylike. i grabbed this dress from free people which is super comfy and easy. i wore it with my white corneila bordo carpet mules (via ladybird) and a vintage gold mesh bag.

the dress can be worn year round - when the temps drop, add an oversized denim jacket, a blazer or a cardigan and sneakers, booties or chunky loafers (with fun socks). it'll be great for travel too as it can easily go from day to night - for day wear it with sandals or sneakers and for night, add strappy sandals or heels, a clutch and statement earrings. 

hmm, it comes in white too, i'm always looking for an easy white dress...
