midi skirt inspo

i recently got this black denim midi skirt and while i usually go for shorter denim skirts, i'm loving the midi style right now, especially for fall and winter. here's some inspo i rounded up on how to style it...

keep it simple with a slightly slouchy white tee, tucked in, add a small bag and heels

love this casual look with an oversized sweater (a sweatshirt would look cool too), socks and sneaks

add some pattern and texture with a chunky sweater over your shoulders

love this classic look - a grey sweater (super versatile staple for winter) and black boots (or booties)

cute with a striped top - add socks and sneaks, booties or clogs

i also have this green cargo midi skirt... 

love the way gap styled it with a white tank and a tonal sweater

throw on a sweatshirt and sneakers for an easy fit

you know i love a blue button-up (see here) so pairing one with a cargo midi is right up my alley - so easy and chic. i'll be buttoning mine up a bit more 😜 more like below...

leave it untucked for a casual vibe or tuck it in for a more put together look... add booties and you can layer a denim jacket or chunky cardigan over it too. a denim shirt would look great with it also.
